Midnight Blue finish

Post by beatlefan »

I've just received my first midnight blue finished Rick....a 4003, straight from POTR. It is the first I've ever seen in person and I have to say I am stunned by the beauty of this finish! It is a metallic, sparkly blue that is absolutely stunning. I'm going to see if I can borrow a nice digital camera to capture this color and show you all....my cheap Kodak Easy Share won't do it justice.

Where has Midnight Blue been all my life? Image

The metallic look really goes well. I have a metallic red yamaha, just adds that extra something to a guitar!

Nice MB, Lars. Is that a lucite 4001 TRC on a late 80's/early 90's 4003?

Thanks Jeff, it is an original plexi TRC on a '75 4001.

The finish is not original...
