Too funny!

LOL, Tony, it's not like that I had that in my head as I was reading the thread!
Remember, I am a scientist/science geek - I have a bookmark to the USPTO site, and it didn't take too long to search the patent database (I used "guitar AND display") and find what was a logical candidate for said patent.

Hey Gary,
Sorry for my delay in response, I'm a bit behind on my forum duties!
LOL on this end too, it was meant to have a tounge in cheek ring to it, but it loses something in print!
I NEVER even knew the USPTO site existed! I couldn't for the life of me figure out where you got that information! LoL.
"Remember, I am a scientist/science geek". Oh man, my son is like that! He makes me NUTS! I keep joking that he should join MENSA! Of course, being 18 years old (and just happens to know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING as teenagers do)just makes life more interesting!

I used to be a member of Mensa until I came home from grad school one day and my wife said something like, "You smart people think you're so much better than everyone else ..." and launched into a tirade based on some Mensan's idiotic article in the Mensa Bulletin. (Scoring high on an I.Q. test desn't mean that a person has a high level of common sense!)
BTW, I was also a member of Intertel; Mensa is the 98% percentile, but Intertel is the 99% percentile - only half of Mensa would qualify for that organization.
