I'm almost finished. The cover is being designed as we speak. I had to sacrifice "Apple Scruffs" for "Another Day"

No sacrifices. Apple Scruffs is more of a Beatle song than Another Day. C'mon Richard, reconsider!

I've got the article, tucked away somewhere, with a number of other Beatles articles. Over the years, I've come to the conclusion that the story is a fantasy piece, with just enough fact to give it some creedence. Hence, 'Dirty Old Man' being taken from 'Mean Mr. Mustard', and 'Hot As Sun' being off the McCartney album. 'Proud As You Are' and 'Zero Is Just Another Even Number' are just made up titles, I'm afraid. There was a picture that accompanied the article, which was taken in early 1969, but it was just a picture of the Beatles - no album cover.

Looks like George has got the best tunes on the album.

I would have put Mac's "Dear Boy" from 71's "Ram"
on the list. It's a (late) Beatle-y tune.

That is a good track Jerry. I think this album we are conjuring up would probably have been released in 70. George's songs were outstanding in 70.

How about Paul's 'Back Seat of my Car' from 'Ram'. I believe he was working on this during the 'Let it Be' sessions.

That would have been January of 1969. Did the song go back that far?

The ending sure seems to reflect the mood in 1971 when Paul went to the High Court and started the legal fight.
