"A seagull and his wife.."

LOL!

I have to look over my shoulder when I say stuff like that! I've gotten more whacks to the back of my head that way! Hmmmm, that explains it!

The greenbursts were probably misdirection.

There were indeed, Alan, although Eric told me that they were just experiments - not candidates for COY.

He kept a straight face at the time and I couldn't see how firmly his tongue was planted in his cheek, so who knows..... perhaps I should have plied him with more libation! Image

Of course anybody can change their mind!

I'm rather fond of that Aquaglo-looking shade in the middle, myself....and that black burst is sure interesting, too.

Oh, but why would I possibly even think about wanting another Ric? I'm running out of places to put 'em!

I sure like the blackburst too, Melibee, but I have a similar problem. I'll have to start ditching furniture and the like if I get any more gear. I've already moved the dining table and chairs out! Image

I am in love with that dark green burst 360 WB in the picture of the bench. If they offered that today, I would put in my downpayment, marriage be dammned. ;)

I have to agree with you, Greg. That is one pretty finish.

The "dark green" you see was just a shade on the green side of teal. I like it, too, and like the aquaburst as well. But they were supposedly experiments, and they may not be candidates (if they ever were) for the 2007 COY any longer. We should know for sure sometime in January if not sooner.

I thought they said they weren't going to have a COY this year so that they could catch up on all of the backorders.
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.
