Jimmy Page may have played a Ric.

Post by byu »

I'm reading an interview with Jimmy Page from 1977 in Guitar Player Magazine.

GP: Is there an electric 12 string on "Thank You"?
Page: Yes. It's either a Fender or a Rickenbacker.

There we have it folks. Proof that Jimmy Page MAY have played a Ric on a Zeppelin tune.

Interesting! I always heard it was a Vox. I also hear an electric 12 on "Living Loving Maid".

In the same interview he says he used a Vox 12 with the Yardbirds.
