73 4001FG in Ebay

Post by rictified »

has Grovers, toaster, and checkerboard binding, comes with original plastic pickup cover and case. A little buckle rash on the back. Why do people do that? I always turn my buckle to the left side of my left pocket.

One could "dress" like Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and not wear a belt. Sometimes, he only wears his bass!

This is the bass that has been at The Guitar Broker in Florida for the past few months. I guess he's decided to try Ebay to see if it will sell.
Just his luck, there's now another 73 4001 Fireglo this one from January listed as well for a little less money.

The January 73 Fireglo 4001 just SOLD with a Buy it Now bid of $1,600.00

That leaves The Guitar Broker's May 73 Fireglo 4001 available for a Buy it Now price of $1,795.00
Let's see if he gets it.

Boy, this is great! In February I bought my '73 4001 FG (MG****) in nicer condition, with toaster, checker binding, Grovers and Shedua stripe down the neck for $1100.00; now it's value had risen 50% already, ooh, goody, goody!!!

Boy are these things rising in price, I hate to see these go the way of the old Fenders, (because I don't have enough of them yet). These Rics are nice but not that nice.
