Even Paul may not have a set of these, not a new one anyway:

Glenn, just saw this thread...
I put away my headphones for good about a year and a half ago, except for TV viewing late at night.
But, my tube system is awaiting a new phono stage (preamp)to replace the budget Bellari, and it will be complete, for awhile, at least.
See the thread in my "Curmudgeon" section.

Yes, Glenn...it's where people, including Seals and Crofts, sing "I Get Ba'ha'i With a Little Help From My Friends", isn't it? Or is this a Sunday Times crossword clue?
Seriously, though, rounding that turn and coming upon that building when driving north on Sheridan Road on a clear night, is one of my fondest North Shore memories. Exquisite!

Heh-heh. That is quite an area over there, starting where Sheridan and Central meet and heading south, or east into the park, and the harbor and all. I grew up at 6th and Central, and had a friend who lived on the east side of Sheridan just a few feet south of the temple (which would nearly make it Evanston.) His Dad ran and art gallery in the city and that place was stocked with a phenomenal art collection. Had another friend lived over there, a house down from what was the Nat'l College of Education (remember that? They changed the name decades ago but the name escapes me.) Anyway, this friend had an interesting block. I think the street he was on was called Garrison. Half of the block was in Evanston, and half in Wilmette, with streetlights that corresponded to each town.

Then you have been to Flynn Guitars in Evanston? I used to buy a number of things there. Between that, Music Gallery in Highland park and the GC (now in arlington heights but originally on the north side south of Niles) I spent a ton o' money....that's why I have had 72 Rics now...
