360 with no binding?

Post by johnv »

Has anyone ever seen a 360 with no binding on the back, or am I not seeing this correctly?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140058762351&indexURL=1&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting

Not a rare paint job, IMO. Just a modded 360. Looks like the back's been radiused and binding removed (maybe play damage or binding coming loose), and new guards made.

No way to get it back to original (from what I can see) without replacing the back at minimum.

Interesting that it has RIC humbuckers. Too bad no TRC ... and it's not some $60 correction, either. With one day left and it's only at $750, I think that the seller may have been better off taking the $1200 offer from the dealer.

Am I missing something? There's clearly binding in the 3rd photo.

Yup--once you enlarge it... I clearly spoke out of turn.

But it has had an amateur nitro refin, judging by the gloss and the highlight placement.

Looks like a candidate for the full Curmudgeon treatment if it stays low.
