I saw the Who last night in Toronto with my dad (who's seen a few in his time, including a noisy, feedback soaked show in Newcastle in the late sixties). I'm not a huge classic rock fan, but man, they put on a great show. Really inspiring. The North American tour is winding down, but if you have an opportunity to catch them this time around, I highly recommend it. I'm going to spend the coming weekend playing really, really loud.

No Rics in sight. American deluxe strats and teles from what I could see, but with that much gain, I can see how a semi-hollow Ric might be a little unruly. (Plus you wouldn't want to abuse them the way Pete abused his strats.) They still sounded fab.

Shouldn't that be "mod"? Image
