but, the problem was the bar that is on top of the truss rods...seems they are not always strong enough and adjusting the rods makes it worse.
I'm confident you've seen it many times Paul.
Had the bar replaced, and minor adjustments..bass is perfect now.

Marc... What did you use to replace the bar, and what "minor adjustments" were performed? I bought this bass, and intend to refinish it after the repair.
