Price Check, SVT 8-10 Cab
Late 69 Rob, the Stones did their 69 tour with the first 5 in existence as a torture test, there are supposedly a few 69's around but they are pretty rare, the heads have 6146B power tubes in them until mid 70 and blue graphics which are not silk screened on and the front grilles on the heads don't have the abilty to be pulled off like the later ones, they had to be unscrewed.
Well to me it wqas in the middle of the woods, was somewhere on the RI CT border and was pretty hard to find. The seller wasn't a bass player, forgot how he ended up with them, the head was one of the best sounding SVT's I've ever heard very warm and punchy, didn't have the bucks for it at the time.
I'm not sure what it has Greg they are original though, the cones all look the same to me of any 70's cab I've owned although the baskets are different. I had two very early ones at one time, 1970 I think.
