I have original templates for Head Stock, the Body and Ta Da the Pickguard. Most of the 4000 series that were made in the late 50's were Walnut Neck thru with Maple Body Wings. The Bass was also a 1/4 inch thicker. I am currently restoring a 4001S from the 60's to look like a 4000 with large gold pickguard and original H.S. pickup.
