For those who want a quick summary w/o following the link – it is the story about a master luthier deep in the hills of Virginia (Wayne Henderson) who has a TEN-YEAR waiting list for his guitars. (Makes RIC ‘s two years seem like nothing.) By sheer accident, Clapton plays one of his guitars and wants one. The story goes into detail about how hand-made guitars are built.
It is a great read and not Clapton-centric at all.
