Difference between a 91 and a 95 4001v63
Ive just spotted two different jetglo 4001v63s for sale by different Australian online stores, one is a 91 and the other a 95. Are there any changes that occurred to the v63s between 91 and 95 that would make one more desirable than the other?

Re rarity - even more surprising to me is that these are both in Australia where rickenbacker basses of any type are hard enough to come by, and that they come up for sale a week after I bought my 4001c64 after searching high and low for months to get a vintage reissue of either type.

Adam, Welcome to the forum mate. We need a bass-playing forum member around these parts, particularly here in Melbourne. You must catch up with the rest of us
I reckon the Jetglo 4001V63 basses are simply beautiful.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone, and its good to see that there are some fellow Melbournians here.
Kevin, I think it may have been your comments in another thread about slight differences between the years on the v63 that prompted my question. Tempting as each of these basses are, having only just scrounged the funds for my c64, and after a nights sleep and a cold shower I dont think Ill be pursuing either. I cant fault my c64 and can appreciate the mapleglo for its own aesthetics, and its pleasing to hear that some prefer the c64 to the v63, although Ive not been fortunate enough to try a v63 myself so cant personally make the comparison.
Had the c64 not come up I would have been after either of these v63s without any question. Not sure what I would have done though had all three been available at once.....

Hey Alan, that's great news. I can see that the next Melbourne confluence is going to be bigger next time we hold one!
