Howard, absolutely outstanding!!! I'm grinning from ear to ear just reading about it. If I can find my way to Oz sometime soon, I'll be pestering you for an autograph...
Glad the Tangerine Strat was able to contribute to your stardom!!

The Strat was superb, John. They all commented on the gorgeous color and the awesome sound through the JC-120 with the chorus on max. It was a definite winner, mate! Image

Unfortunately my photographer had gone by the time the last set came around, so no pics. Image

Maybe that's why he was gone by the last set? Image

Er...... "he" is a "she" who is a really good friend and had another party to go to, Jeff. Her boyfriend was patiently waiting for her there and I reckon she would have enjoyed being with him far more than enduring any more of my fluffs and clangers! Image

I guess that's a good enough reason to ditch the gig!

Just took in the whole thread - way to go Aitch! You got my fingers itching with your description onstage. We all knew you had it in you. Kudos, my friend!

How long did it take afterwards to wipe that grin off your mug?! :D ;)

It took a couple of days to disappear, John.... but it still comes back every now and then when I think about the gig. Image

Thanks, John. Happy holidays to you too! How strange.... our forecast for tomorrow is 35 - celsius, that is!

We've already had a couple of days over 105 in the old scale this summer. Looks like it's going to be a long, hot, dry one.
