Get them while you can…

I understand that all of Ampeg products will now be made in China,

My local GC had some old stock left, in which I purchased these USA made Ampegs.

No way I would spend top dollar for a MIC Ampeg.

It does sound awesome. Much warmer than my Pro3 and 2-410hlf set up,

i recently got an ampeg b500dr head and a svt 410hlf cab from musicians friend. "made in usa" and i'm dig'n it.

Yes, this has been discussed for a while over on the RIC site.

I guess maybe it's an outgrowth of the purchase of St. Louis Music by Loud Technologies. StLM (like someone else we know) was a long-time family-owned company. Those days are gone.

I agree 300W of tube are better than 450W of MOSFET. More "punch" factor. More solid. Flaunt that 810!! I'd have one if my back could handle it - I have enough trouble with the 410HLF!
