Sure I will, Jeff. You know, I don't have have a single Fender in my arsenal. The closest thing I have are my Mike Lulls, which I'll gladly put up against Fender's Custom Shop stuff.

The C64 neck is just more comfortable to me than a P-Bass neck and I can get a similar tone out of it. Of course, YMMV.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

I do have one token Fender, but I have only gigged with it once, I prefer my Ricks.

Me too Jps! But, I used mine for 15 years exclusively. That all changed when I got my V63 and Ampeg.

I've got a V63MG and a C64FG, both strung with D'Addario Chromes flats. Very nice sounding basses, especially through my Ampeg combo.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Hey Dave, you where right. The birdseye on the neck is to die for. The bass is in like new condition, and with a little adjustment to the truss rods has setup better than my previous C64's.
She is a keeper for sure!
Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Image
