I'm looking to "fix" a small nick on the back of the neck on my Fireglo 330.
The nick is where the darker portion of the finish starts to turn lighter, which IMHO is probably harder to touch up than if it were on either the dark side or light side. (It HAD to happen in the in-between!!!)
So, how do I do this????

You may be able to drop fill the nick with something that Stewart-McDonald sells. I had a couple of nicks in an old Gibson EB-0 bass of mine and I fixed it with Stewmac laquer pens. The pens come in four colors. You should be able to find the correct shade, or something close. I was able to "drop fill" the nicks with the pens. Being very careful, I'd fill in the nick, let it dry, fill it in more, let it dry, etc. I did this until the nick was completely filled in. Depending on the size of your nick you can do the same thing. Each pen is $8.49 + shipping and come in Transparent (clear), Amber, Burgundy, and Ebony. I see Stewmac also has laquer sticks, but they look too complicated for me. Good luck.
