Not a big enough splash it would appear.

Same old story, I use to ignore these 4002's as they hung on the wall. Never got use to their appearance. Now I wish I had access to try one due to the interesting electronics.

and to think...........i got mine fer 900 bux.....in excellent condition,....with all original parts...........

oh wait........Original Horse Shoe Cover ?????

all of my bass is completely original..............the 4002's weren't built with that big ole horse shoe.............

Mike Parks had one a few years ago that he couldnt give away. I think it went for under $4K.

But then again, at the same time CS 4001's were going for around $1700, and everyone (myself included), thought that was outragious.

Considering the rarity of the 4002's, I dont think $5K is bad at all.
