Soldier Boy guitar solo?
Does anybody here know who played the guitar solo on the Shirelles 1962 hit "Soldier Boy"? It sounds a lot like a hollow-body Gretsch in a water tank, so I thought it might be Duane Eddy. I know he did a version of the song of his own, but I can't find anything to say who did the Shirelles version.
