The only Slade album I've ever owned is the live one (Slade Alive? - I'd have to dig it out of a closet to check).

Anyway, I always liked their version of "Darling Be Home Soon."

I wonder, if there had been a "battle of the bands" between Monkees and Slade, who'd win?..
Slade had a few very cool songs, imho - "Far far away" and "Run runaway" just for instance. However, i like their early stuff the most (first two albums). And Nod has a great voice!

Unfortunately it's Nod's voice that put me off them, Sheena. The again, if he heard mine he'd probably be looking for earplugs too!!
