So the bit where John Hall said that 2007's COY would be REALLY different, he was really lying?

They developed a colour, Will, but they chose not to offer it this year. Apparently it's one of Eric's mad creations.

Say, does anyone else picture Eric with a lab coat, wacky hair, and a smoking paint gun?

I've seen the COY, and it IS quite different from anything they've previously offered, in more than one way.

And it is quite nice. Eric's hit one out of the park, IMO.

Worth waiting for, guys and gals!

Its not a carbon fibre type pattern, is it?

And although I've never seen what Eric looks like, I can imagine the back of a balding professor with magnified goggles and long white messy hair, in one hand, he has a paint gun, in the other, he's holding his favourite mallet and he's cackling madly...

Forgive me, I'm tired

It's not a white pearlescent paint that changes colour as the light shines on it differently, is it?

Ok, I'll stop typing about it all now...

I'm envisioning Eric as a mad scientist / Thomas Dolby type. "He blinded me with VARNISH!"

Yes! Use 2007 as a catch-up year, so they will be ready to bring out the new 4001V68's at full production in 2008 (40 years later)!

Someone had a picture of Eric at the 75th but I looked at all the pics I have and also the Yahoo site and couldn't find it.
