...Make that, "Casady".BTW, Jack has his 1st ever solo CD out now, and it's really good.Titled,"Dream Factor.Check it out.Wait a minute; no Rick content here, so here's what I Really posted for; If you can get a copy of "Vintage Guitar Magazine", July 2003, Vol.17, No. 9, go to page 11 and check the onstage pic of the Airplane circa '69-'70[Joey Covington pictured on drums dates this pic]; Paul Kantner has a Rick 12 I have Never seen him with, a Mapleglo Double bound 370-12, with a bizarre 7 knob control panel!!! What's up with That???

All that comes to mind, we are talking Airplane Gear here, is that it possibly made a stop at the Alembic Workshop prior to that pictures gig.
Just a thought.

..or at least pre- Alembic, given the era this was in, no doubt.In any case, Kantner with a Double bound Rick is a new thing, given the bulk of pictures of him that are out there with roundtop 360-12s.

Model 370/12--This was the three pickup
model played   by Roger McGuinn of the
Byrds.
              Although not listed as a regular
production model until June 1980, the fac-
tory consistently made 370/12 guitars after
the mid 1960s.   Some had the special wiring
used by McGuinn, the so-called Byrd wiring.
The   factory did   other custom wiring on
370/12 guitars: one made in December 1968
had   three volume controls and three tone
controls.

I saw Jorma last night. He was great. Played two solid sets. Was accompanied by mandolin player extrodinaire: Barry Mitterhoff

Jorma mentioned a fall acoustic HOT TUNA tour and said that Barry had been "conscripted" for that as well.

Did an incredible version of the tune GOOD SHEPHERD off of JA's VOLUNTEERS
