The 'S' has now arrived from the States, took forever with Christmas and new year. It is without question the best Rickenbacker bass that I have ever owned, and I have owned quite a few. The feel and tone is to die for. Full report with photos to follow.

Those unbound bodies are so much more user friendly than the deluxes...

Glad to hear it arrived in one piece and you like it. S basses rule! And S basses in burgundy are very rare.

Do we include 4000 basses in the "S" club?
