4001/4003 w/SVT-3PRO

Post by rickengrowl »

Hi,

Just because someone not very far from me has an SVT-3PRO for sale at a very affordable price, I'd like to know, before having to drive, if someone here uses this model of amp with a Rick 4001/4003, and how it sounds.

Many thanks in advance,

All the best,

I use the SVT-3pro rackmount head and the only complaint that I have is that it is NOT Bi-ampable. It is truly warm and ballsy, loud, clean, tube or solid state sounding, it can be adjusted. You really have to try one out for yourself. I have used double 15 cabs and currently am using a 4-10 cab. Both sound great. If you get a good price, I'd go for it!
Rick bass fanatic. I own and play several professionally. I have a passion for the S models.
