Ampeg Question

Post by j_gary »

Jeffery, it would appear you are as exquisite a cook as you are a bass player/comedian. However, that little bear is giving me the Mary Hart/Kramer effect.

Oh yea Ampeg, I find all I need is a touch of electricity with my rig and nothing else. I never hear any complaints as I cannot read lips. Don't have to go jogging when you own an Ampeg.

Hey Richard, they have wheels on them.

She should be able to get both while I grab a sandwich.

Just jawing she manages to get my 200lbs out the house quick! The 810's are only 165lbs.

Wow!! People actually have good things to say about the B2RE's?

They have B2RE's in all, and I do mean all, of the practice studios here in Tokyo, those things drive me crazy,

I always make them change exchange it for a Trace Elliot head or whatever else they have lying around. I do like the SVT's though, they are great!

I have played both my '80 AZ 4001 and my '06 Japan Jazz through the B2RE's and found the tone to be too thin and flimsy, just lacks any oomph whatsoever

I'd probably have to be chained to them if I stood in front of those things, as I'm a scrawny 130 lbs, and a light breeze blows me around....R

All this Ampeg talk is making me miss my late 70's SVT I had when I was in my 20's, of course I sold it like many of us have with our old gear. That being said, I'm really digging my new Markbass LM2/sansamp rbi setup with 2x12 cab, more to come on this as I'm gearing up on rack mounting both in a three space, I'm estimating about 18 pounds in a nice compact powerful package.
