Which Rick Do You Have?

I call the scratches and dents 'character lines'! Great looking bass. What size speakers are in the Vox?

Exactly my thoughts!

If those defects bother you too much, let me know. Image

Marc...I know nothing about the smoothbore but I'll check into it. My brother has had it a while.
Paul...I saw that on Ebay last year and I couldn't resist. All the info can be found here. Lots of cool guitars and basses! http://www.hembryguitars.com/TBass.htm

Ben,

I happen to like those too...

As a bass player, I stopped playing 20+ years ago. Back then I had a band with regular gigs & even a manager. Had to quit for professional reasons. Good old days of Rock & Roll !!

Then under ``mysterious`` circumstances I happened to get my hands on a cheap bass guitar last may...

Since then, I play with 2 bands!! One of classic 70s rock, soft type, the other more into heavy & recent stuff. Bass family: T-Bird, 4003 MG ( 1992 ), 4003 JG ( 2006 ) and P Bass ( Dirnt signature model w/ pickguard removed )I've always been into ``collecting``...
