I've been away from this site for awhile too, but I'd be likely to purchase such a book, if it existed. Especially if it was full of purty pictures!

Paul Boyer's book (for Hal Leonard) is in the works. Paul has been gathering and cataloging data in earnest for the last two years. The book is intended to be a field guide so will certainly contain lots of pics. Once published, the book will without a doubt become a standard reference for vintage instrument dealers and collectors.

I'd buy one in a flash. I'm sure we'll all know when it's done.

This is a labor of love on Paul's part. I know his heart is in this one, along with a huge chunk of his time. I, too, look forward to seeing this one hit the streets.

Me too.

Realistically, it's at least a year away from publication. So hang in there, guys.

Make it during Husky season and the chances increase, we could also go visit Bass Northwest.
