I checked the progress of my aunt's calendar and noted that it was in Chicagoland yesterday. Mine arrived via UPS and her's is traveling via USPS.

Just checked the tracking, and mine was in St. Paul yesterday. Picked up my mail from the PO, and still not here today.... Ah well, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

Got mine up. It's going to be June all year for me.

How does this work if your guitar is in the calendar? Do you get a freebie? Huh?

Hmmm...since I'm donating my time, and paying the $8.00 per month to keep the RRF virtual shop open, I'd say offhand,

NO.

Nice try, though.

Ummmmm.... If we got freebies for having our guitars in the calendar, I should have gotten mine, both this year's and last year's, for free, plus an extra, since two of my guitars were in last year's calendar. Kenny, that's wishful thinking, I'm afraid! Image

Oops, I may have given Paul W some wrong information.

May's Model 1997 LH MG is identified as being built in 1999. Actually, it was built in 1996 and I bought it 1999. Image

Ooh - Are we going to get a second corrected printing, making these first ones instant collectibles?

Mine finally came in, BTW.

Went to the PO this morning, and still no calendar....sheeesh. Tracking says "enroute." That's the longest trip from St. Paul I've ever seen!

The cool thing about this calendar is that as I was looking at the previews I knew who the owners were and could put a face with the name for probably three-quarters of the guitars and basses pictured.... It's like a family photo album.

Hey, wouldn't that be fun? A RickResource family photo album, where people could submit quality pictures of their guitars and have them put into a book.... Anybody have lots of extra time on their hands to put one together? LOL! Image

Family photo album with no people in the pics?

No, people would be nice, too.... Some with people, some without; as long as the pictures are of good quality. BTW, I'm not volunteering to do this, but I think it would be a cool project for somebody who would have the time and who would want to, LOL!

Mine came Saturday - I finally got to look at it today! sa-WEET! Aaaah... that nice New Calendar smell. And everyone's pics are great! Melissa, I'm sure you'll be proud when you see yours in print. I thought it was interesting that April's Acoustic guit is owned by RIC and photographed by 'Sigrid Rickenbach.' Anyone know the story of who this is?

Well, that would be, um, me, actually. My first name is spelled 'Siegrid.' I took the photo at the showroom after the RIC factory tour during the 75th festivities. The camera angle is something I call 'pure envy.' Image

Some nice folks I met at the confluence were (good-naturedly) teasing me and that name of mine. "Sea Green Rickenbacker" comes to mind.. ha.

Got my calendar(s) yesterday. so very nice, thanks again Paul and all.

Mine finally came today, too.... I am very pleased indeed, with all of the pictures! Image

Well done, everyone!

Ahhhh, it's so nice to have the "eye candy" again while I work the long hours at my desk!
