The time has come....

Post by rickbeat »

Hello all Forumites!
I have decided to retire from the site work. It is not that I don't like it; I love it, but I am forced to focus my attention on other personal issues.
My wish is that the site will continue to exist but with another owner/webmaster.

The price is $25000 for www.rickbeat.com ( I have put down many years of work and money in it)

I am sorry to hear this Bjorn. I have enjoyed your site for many years. I wish you all the best.

There is something on that site that is causing my browser to crash. I am using IE7 with WindowsXP Pro. It has happened 3 times now.

Sorry to hear that. There shouldn't be any problems. I use IE7 and XP and it works. Maybe the applet?

Wow, Bjorn!

That's a shocker. Your site was the place to go for reference pics on most Rick models...a real Labor of Love, my friend.

I wish you the best of luck in selling the URL and please stay in touch and Keep On Rickin'!

Björn,

You have been part of the institution of all things Rickenbacker. I hope you manage to stay in touch with us all. Here's wishing you all the best for a speedy sale.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Bjorn. I understand that's it's difficult and time consuming to maintain a 'labour of love' such as your site. I wish you all the best in finding a new keeper and hope that you have a happy 'retirement'. Please drop in here regularly, eh?

Hopefully I'll see you again at a confluence somewhere in the not too distant future. Image
