Glad to see you back! Things have been kind of quiet without you!
Cool, very cool indeed!
Looks like it's going to be a VERY good year!

Brian, did you ever get the JG Laredo in CA?
If not I'm sure you've already seen the MID on ebay.
Edit: I just now saw where you barely missed the red NAMM bass at the pit, my condolences, that was a cool bass and I felt a twinge of pain when I saw that, timing is everything.

Mark, no, the person that ordered it still wanted it. He was an ex-employee of the store and the owner thought he'd pass due to money issues but was wrong.
The only thing that bugs me about the red Laredo (besides the fact that I'm jonesing for another maple fretboard) is that I emailed the owner a few months ago telling him that I want it if he ever sold it. He said he couldn't imagine parting with it but if he did that he'd let me know. I guess he forgot.....oh, well.
I put a healthy bid (IMO) on the MID Laredo and haven't hit the reserve so I think I'll pass.
Brian, I didn't know you were in the market for another, after getting the 4004/5 and such, and I saw the red one, thought of you, and then said, naww...I think he is all set for the moment. I'm sorry, bro...have been kicking myself ever since.
We should have a section with basses people are actively looking for and edit it once these items are found....or something...
