hahahahahaha ... Bob actually has more posts than me ... he is on his second identity ... as per strings and effects ... to each his own ... every player can seek out his own sound ... for me don't take my rounds and gadgets ...

This is what I meant to post in the first place, it's sloppy and not very original but shows what a 79 4001, with three year old flats straight into a 70's SVT sounds like, it's a solo that was cut off near the end fortunately for me as I dropped half a step for a few moments before realizing it. This drummer is really good BTW

Thanks, I'm pretty sure they are GHS bright flats, very light gauge. They have a dark blue wrap and I bought them a long time ago.

Great playing Bob. Awesome Ric tone, just think how good it would sound with new rounds.... and maybe a gadget ;-)

I like rounds and gadgets, too, but Bob and I are on the same page when it comes to SVT's... I think we should be the official forum SVT wh*res!
