I am not a huge fan of the skinny wings but I am waiting on something else to depart so i can get this other bass that I have been looking at.

I have owned 2 2001 4003 basses ... both were excellent ... the bodywings and headstock went back to the 60s shape about 1997 ... for me that looks right because my first Ric was a 1968 4001 ... my jetglo 4003 and my jetglo 4004L are 2 of my favorite gigging basses ...

Your American flag is hanging the wrong way. When displayed vertically, the field of stars should always be on the left.
