Hey Paul, any chance on seeing some pics of the work in progress? I realize you're very busy and your backlog is probably approaching RIC-like proportions so if that's a factor don't sweat it. I'm not just asking for me though, I know I've always been interested in seeing pics of your other projects and I'm sure others would be interested in seeing this one too.

Back from NAMM...It's clear the decks and get rolling in the next couple of days. I won't post any pictures of the stripping operation, as it's been done before. If anyone wants the Photobucket links, I can post them...once the body is ready fro sealing, I'll begin posting.

NAMM was over the top, as usual, but the RIC display was a pocket of calm most times. To fully describe the weekend, however, would take a small book. I do have pictures (in three cameras) which I must pull together.
Thomas, here are some picture links, though not of this AZ project; these are various basses (yep, one's a lefty '72) in different pre-paint conditions:

Twin azureglos? That would be cool, mine is a very rare checkered w/small inlays, they only made them that way for a couple of months.

Bob, yours is being stripped as I write this. Photos next week.
Mark, yours is the second up to bat right now...photos on this soon, too!
Two more are also in-process in this all-bass month.

Wow, a 67 in azureglo, that's going to be stunning. I guess you're going to put a horseshoe in for authenticity? The good thing is yours will make an excellent preview for what mine is going to look like.
