If I would've seen that earlier I would've smashed that BIN so hard....there would have been a disturbance in the force.

That's nice. I've seen a few in that color. You could get any color offered on the V63 near the end of the run. I even had a Sea Green one.

Carmen, you and both had a Sea Green V63. That is one of the two basses I've regretted having to sell (the other was my '68 Paisley Telecaster bass). My old SG is safe here with Steve Wood though.

Tim,

I've had several Rick basses I regret selling and the Sea Green V63 is one of them. That was a rare one.

"If the buyer that bought the $5,000,000 Shelby Super Snake is a Ric fan it could go for alot more than $4K..."

And if Cosby didn't crash the other Super-he coulda had 5.5M too!

I had a good 25 minutes to think it over and passed. I've got a '98 V63JG already. Very nice bass, but not my favorite. I could have bought it to flip it, but I thought that would be rude. I guess I should have BIN'd it and then offered it to another Forumite for no profit, but I have a habit of becoming a black hole for nice Ricks. I don't sell 'em as easily as I buy 'em! Ultimately, I decided I didn't need another one and hoped another Forumite would BIN it. I guess I goofed.

OMG! Feeling weak!

Never cared for blue until I saw this!
If it was a earlier version I would have nailed that BIN!

I had owned a seagreen V63 a couple years ago also! It was absolutely perfect.....so I sold it. I regret it now, but at the time I just could'nt justify keeping it when I knew I couldn't play it out for fear of that first ding.....I know better NOW, but there were other Rics to be had....Image

Seagreen is good...

If that had been SG I would have bit. I looked at the BIN for about 20 minutes too, but was sure one of the forum guys would snap it up. Strange someone will bid $2K...but not $2.5K to buy outright.

Yeah, that's probably just somebody that knew he wouldn't end up getting it, but couldn't stand the thought of somebody else getting a good deal!
