Thanks Jeff & Jim,

I just ordered this....I had a gift certificate with Amazon so this seemed to be the best deal...

I REALLY appreciate the help!

As long as it's speaker cable(unshielded)it'll be okay, although most cable hype these days is just that. Gold plated ends actually have an enamel coating on them to keep the gold from coming off. I get all of my cables custom made for me by Butch at Bayou Cables.

Thanks everyone,

Dane, so did I get the right thing? There isn't any mention of "shielding" and it is advertised as a SPEAKER CABLE.

I don't want to do ANYTHING that can mess up my new (used) rig!

Tony, ya, it looks like you got the right thing. For future reference though, NEVER use shielded cable to hook up speakers.

They work fairly well, as they are not shielded, have low resistance, and can handle decent power. The rest is pretty much cosmetic!

I use black speaker cables. Less energy is reflected back into the atmosphere resulting in greater frequency response and reduced global warming.....no,really!
