Rickenbacker nameplates

Post by kvalois »

Hi, fellow Byrds fans. Does anyone have any suggestions about getting a Rick nameplate for a 1967 guitar. My best friend passed away and his family gave me his old guitar. Yet, it has not nameplate or truss rod cover.
I know about Rickenbacker's policy of having to mail them at lest half of an old one!!! Still, I have nothing!
No electric guitar can compare to the "jingle-jangle" of a Rickenbacker!!!

Once in a blue moon you can find them on ebay. Be prepared to spend money!

You could also try Rhoads music, he's on the web, they are usually about $200.00 or more though. I bought a set of Grover bass keys from him and they were $300.00, they were in nice shape though.
