4005-6 bass photo needed

If I were going to do a 4001/6, I wouldn't use the factory 4005/6 headstock as a source. It's much too square. I'd make it more like an elongated V63 headstock. Have the tuner bodies butt right up against each other with the one in the middle on each side in further to go with a more V63 style curve on each side.

I sold a '67 4005/6 about ten years ago. It was fireglo, and I'd strung it with regular gauge bass strings for the lower four. I believe it was somebody in the San Diego area who got it (for a very good deal- I wasn't too knowledgeable at the time). Looked kind of cool, but I never was a 4005 guy. Don't miss it (I know, sacrilege!) but wish I'd have made more money off the deal!
