Water cooled GT6131 ball bearing so it spools fast and works with the stock converter. It'll only be 450-ish hp.

I'm gonna have to start talkin' about Rics on my Turbo Buick Forums! Image

Of course! And I never did tweak the waste gates up tighter than the "book" 9 to 11 pounds on my old Callaway twin-turbo Vette back in the late 80s. Because if I had done that in this state, it would have raised the BHP way above the maximum 500 BHP that the state law allows. I would have never tweaked them up to the 750 BHP that this setting pumps, nor would I have taken advantage of the low-inertia of the twins to get quick spoolup for leaving lengthy forensic samples of my tire tread on public highways and byways with less power lag, compared to a single turbo with lots more mass and lots longer spoolup delay.

Nope, would never break the law like that. Image

Course, the engine doesn't last long like that. a 17 to 19 lb dump setting is kinda hard on it Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

I'm shootin' for 25lbs. of boost max with the alcohol injection. Some people run close to 30lbs. but my car (IMO) doesn't deserve the thrashing so I'll stay a little conservative. No need to make a low mileage hand grenade. My daily street tune should be 22-23lbs. with alky and 20lbs with just the more efficient intercooler. Nice power and reliability with a/c and 22mpg from a tiny, harmless 3.8 V6.

I can't remember when I ever had blisters on my fingers because of playing my bass, although we also had 3hrs sets to play. I usually avoid the blisters because I play mainly with my fingernails and with much more gain/vol. on the amp. This helps to preserve the nails for the whole set time as I need only regular picking with little stress on the nails (sometimes I support them with a little bit of cyanoacrylate glue. NO JOKE!). I also prefer to play with the fingernails as it brings out a lot of harmonics I can't get with fingertips.

While trying to load a very heavy piece of luggage into my trunk, it slipped and sliced the top of my fretting hand's middle finger.

What would be a minor annoyance for most folks, prevents me from playing guitar for about a week, a major tragedy!
