What are the recommended round wound stings with "modern sound"(deep fundamental bass together with crispy highs and mids that can growl) that have low tension and do not grind into the frets too much (nickel, I guess)???
BTW: TI are very rare in Germany, don't know why? I only saw the TI set IN344 (superalloy, roundwound, 45-105)
String by brand: Low or high tension ??

I'm really liking the DR Hi Beams I've been using on my Laredo. The tension feels good because of the round core, they are steel round wound but the company says they are easy on frets because the outer wrap is slightly compressed. I've also heard good things about the nickel Lo Riders. I prefer the steel with the hb pups on the 4004, it has a great mid growl that just leaps off the strings.

Dean Markley Cryogenic med light gauge RW's are nice sounding, have the bottom and top and are fairly low tensioned, much lower than RS-66 Rots are and last much longer. They sound modern and are much easier on the frets than Rots.
I don't think Rotosound flats are low tension strings, I also bought two sets and both sets had a dead G string in it.
Fender med. gauge flats are the highest tension strings I've ever used, sound good though if you like the thump sound. With TI flats I always raise the action, they are a high output string so you can do that, also with raised action they feel normal, don't feel like spaghetti under your fingers.
