After using a Shubb capo for years, I just switched to a G7th--one of my fun Christmas presents from my hubby! (The other one was the Baggs iMix pickup that was just recently installed in my Comstock by our local luthier....

I use a capo quite a bit, partially for the sound it gives my acoustic guitar, and partially because I like to sing in keys like Eb, or Bb. I still have my old Hamilton capo. I don't think you can get them anymore. Although the design is still around, I believe. I also have a Shubb. I prefer the Hamilton, because I can just loosen the thumb screw and slide it off the fretboard, and park it at that narrow spot between the tuners, and the nut and just leave it there until I need it.

I took Jack's and y'r'all's advice and got a Kyser for my 12-string. Problem solved! And it reminded me that I used to own another one in the 80's, a bronze-looking one. Great capos.
