366-12 Converter Comb

I assume several of you have been there. It's a nice vintage Rick 366-12, just missing some parts. My situation is that I have all the plastic and related screws for the comb mechanism, but I lack the metal comb, the metal bracket it slides in (with 4 screw holes and "Pat Pending" stamped on it) and the 'arm' that is joined to the comb. Also missing is the big screw that the arm tucks under. Any leads as to how to obtain these parts will be much appreciated. I will try to supply a pic once I figure out how to make one smaller than 36 KB.

Eric- Thanks much. For general info, Rickbid is maintained by Bjorn Ericsson. Oddly enough, the converter comb was one of only two items for sale on the site. The other item was the website itself - $6K! Anyway, I greatly appreciate the tip and am now trying to contact the seller, Steve de Franco.

Good luck on that. Must have been fate. I was searching for vintage knobs and found that web site. I would love to see a pic of the guitar. Maybe you could have the hold down section made or make it your self. Just looks like like thin z channel.

Finally got in touch with Steve. He has all the hardware for it, even the hold-down thing and screws. I'll post it up when it's restored. Hopefully it will look just like the one above (both are MG).

Now that Ron has gotten his parts from Steve, I am a day late and a dollar short as usual. However, I have exactly the same problem as Ron: a 1967 366/12 that is missing the converter comb, arm, and the large screw that secures the arm against the body of the guitar.

Can anyone help?

I saw this question come up over on Rickenbacker's forum and someone posted a link to a site that actually reproduced the converter comb and associated parts! The prices were reasonable too. It should be possible to do a search over there and find the info.
