Now I'm regretting selling my 4003s8

Didn't think I'd ever need it. Wrong! I'm thinking about doing some progressive stuff and it would have been a great voice to have in the arsenal.

I believe a local guy (Lisbon, Portugal) is still selling his mint 1999 4003s/8. IIRC he's asking 1,900 EUR for it. I can provide you with his e-mail address should you be interested.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

You got that right. I used to have a white with black trim version that I sold last year. I'm now kicking myself in the backside for that move.

Sergio, I need to sell some stuff before I get the 8-string again, so I'm in no rush to get one. Thanks for the info.

Hi Ron,

I believe you sold that bass to ME! It's still in perfect shape! Just played it out for the first time two weeks ago, don't have a good pic of me playing it yet.
Thanks!

I bought it from POTR. Did you send it to Chris, Dave?

Stan, that certainly looks like my old one. Thanks for the pic (sniff).

I regret not buying a 4003s/8 when they were available.

$800.00? When was this? I can't believe they were ever that cheap. Was it a closeout or something?
