Like it with black, no chrome, no gold....whatever!!!

I like the gold on the 4004ci bass ... and I like the black as well ...

When I did this bass for Paul Alvarez I tried to talk him into all black hardware on it ...

I like the gold on the Ci also. But black over chrome, for me.

Honestly, they all look really good! The gold looks the most "natural" for this model, but really, both the black and gold look good too.

When I received my 4004CiiTR from forumite Mark Henson (UK) the first thing I did is the hardware change from gold to chrome, as at that time luckily I also had an early 4004L.
