That video is from the performance in Japan. They have recounted (in the Anthology I think) that this was one of their worst onstage performances. Things were not happy in Japan, if you recall. There were real death threats against the band and the sound system sucked. The mics rotating on them and not being able to hear themselves at all adds to the generally poor quality of the performance.

The video is a nice long look at George's second RIC 360/12. I wonder where that guitar is today?

Really, couldn't Mal take a pair of pliers to the mic holder and tighten it down on the stand? You'd think that having it happen on the Ed Sullivan Show in Miami would have made that a lesson learned, eh?

They probably figured it was a Japanese custom and didn't want to mess around with it...
