In the automotive world we tune our parts to a frequency that they will never see. Most everything has a resonant frequency, but if it never is subjected that frequency it will not resonate. If you add mass in the right spots of your cabinet it won't vibrate. You might not be able to lift it up either LOL. Many audiophiles build massive structures for their woofers, some even from concrete.

Bass-ically you want to listen to the driver, not the cab. :D Sorry, I had to.....
