Anyone notice during the Christmas season Macy's was using From Me To You?

Not the Fabs recording, kind of a modernish sounding band.

Is Macca just looking the other way or did the patent expire on the Fab's catalog or something?

Paul doesn't own the song licensing rights anymore, Michael Jackson does. Paul once told Michael to buy up publishing rights because they make a lot of money, and told Michael how he was going to buy the Beatles rights back, and Wacko Jacko outbid him. Paul was pretty mad about it in an interview once, he said that it "ruined their friendship" or something to that effect.

Does anybody know who the girl is that's singing Hello Goodbye? She's got a lovely voice.
Thanks!

As much as I detest watching commercials on network TV, it still happens, and I have to admire the creative team behind Target's psychedelic, Busby Berkly-style commercials.

Sorry David, everything eventually becomes advertising trash...

It's just that the song "Say, Say, Say" has already rendered this impossible.

Sony owns 50% of the rights to the songs. Jackson does not own 100% of them.

Right, Jackson only owns half, and he's reportedly broke (supporting his spend thrift siblings, and parents, and a fleet of lawyers not to mention having spent millions himself.)

Luckily, Paul's got a lot more dough and can still veto the use of his masters.

Perhaps it's because you have a commercial zapper Larry? Image
