Ebay Find

Post by kojakcurtis »

So I've been looking on Ebay for a neck for my first bass, an Aria Pro-II, that was trashed in a fire. Well I came across this and I couldn't believe my eyes! Not only a replacement neck, but Grover tuners for my '74 Ric! I paid $205 shipped. The bass is in great condition and sounds pretty good, so I'm going to leave it alone. Made in the Matsumoku factory. I planned on getting rid of the bass, but I kinda like the tone.

This is a really cool, off-kilter post - it took me a while to get beyond thinking "The Others" to appreciating the bass and the quasi-ricness of it all...

The junker that is becoming my faux thousand two came with a perfect set of Grovers. I paid $225 for the whole nasty mess.
