12 string strings...

12 string strings...
I usually use the ric 12 string set, but when I got my 360/12 back from Paul W (what he can do is amazing) I put the Ric set on but swapped out the .10 and .13's for .09's and .12's. It still sounds great but those high octaves come out a lot easier.
I was thinking of going as far as .08 and .11 but am afraid that might sound a little wimpy.
Any thoughts?

That depends upon how many strings were replaced. I suspect that with only a few, truss rods can remain as-is, as these very light-gauge octave strings are only a small component of the total load on the rods.
