"I'm just curious about security measures when it comes to gear & making sure none "walks out the back door" or "falls off a truck." How is gear going to be monitored?"
Looking at the list of attendees, I know that all are honest and would never do anything like that. Not only that, if any of us did see ( there will be at least 43 eyes on hand) someone unknown try to do such a thing, he wouldn't live too long. We all look after each other here.

I'm certainly not worried about any of the Forum members, but there may be the non-members who perhaps heard about the event from the peripheral. I'm just wondering how the check-in process is laid out since I haven't done one of these before. Does everybody sign in their gear with someone from POTR? Is there a security staff for the event?

Your concerns are one of the reasons that Chris thought it best to pre-register for the event via the links at the top of this thread; we have on file the info that was given by each one of you that included a section to input what you are bringing to the Fest...
Of course, it is only as complete and detailed as the info we were given----so as a redundancy please write down a list of what instruments(with their serial numbers) you bring to present to us when you arrive.
Thanks for your help in advance!
